Polar customer support integration

If Polar is how you sell, Fernand should know who is paying. See plan, purchases, and status on the conversation, and refund or cancel from the thread when you need to.

What this connects

The Polar customer support integration is for teams who monetize with Polar and want that data next to the conversation, not in a second dashboard.

After you authorize Polar, Fernand syncs customer and subscription data. You can tell if someone is an active customer, which plan they are on, and what they have purchased, from the conversation list and the sidebar.

Polar is also the payment integration where Fernand can take action, not only display data. From the conversation you can refund or cancel a subscription without jumping to Polar. Rules can use Polar conditions to tag paying users, assign threads, or fire a webhook.

What you can do in Fernand

Payer status at a glance

See whether someone is an active customer, their paid plan tier, subscription details, and product purchase history in the list and the sidebar.

Prioritize from Polar metadata

Tag or route conversations based on Polar data: high-tier plans, paying users, or a specific product.

Refund or cancel from the thread

Unlike the Stripe, Paddle, Dodo Payments, and Lemon Squeezy integrations, Polar lets you refund or cancel a subscription natively from the Fernand conversation.

Rules on Polar conditions

Trigger auto-replies, assignment, tags, or webhooks from customer and plan conditions such as Contact is a customer or Contact has paid plan.

OAuth, then it stays in sync

Connect Polar from Settings → Integrations, authorize, and Fernand keeps customer and subscription data updated.

Concrete use cases

A paying customer wants a refund

You can see the purchase on the conversation and refund it from Fernand. You are not reconstructing the order in Polar while the customer waits.

Pro plan customers should not sit in the general pile

A rule on Contact has paid plan (Pro) tags the conversation or assigns it to you. Free users can get a slower auto-reply.

You need to know if they actually bought the product

Purchase history is on the thread. The first reply can be about the product they have, not a guess from the email domain.

Support should cancel for someone who asked to leave

Cancel the subscription from the conversation after you have replied. The billing action and the human reply stay in the same place.

How it fits your support workflow

Authorize Polar once

Settings → Integrations → Connect Polar. After OAuth, customer data starts appearing on matched conversations.

Read, then act

Plan and purchases sit in the shared inbox. When the request is a refund or a cancellation, you can do that from the same thread.

Let rules handle the obvious sorting

Polar conditions feed Fernand rules the same way other payment integrations do. Paying users and specific products can take a different path through the inbox.

How to get started

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations, or press G then S.
  2. Click Connect Polar.
  3. Authorize Fernand on Polar’s OAuth screen.
  4. Fernand begins syncing customer and subscription data automatically.

Questions about our Polar integration

Straight answers, without the marketplace filler.

Does Fernand integrate with Polar?
Yes. Fernand has a native Polar customer support integration. Customer, plan, and payment data appear on matched conversations after you connect Polar with OAuth.
Can I refund or cancel a Polar subscription from Fernand?
Yes. From the conversation you can refund or cancel natively. You do not have to switch to Polar for those two actions.
What Polar data can rules use?
Rules can use conditions such as Contact is a customer and Contact has paid plan, then auto-reply, assign, tag, or send a webhook.
How is Polar different from the Stripe integration?
Both show billing context in the inbox. Polar is the one where Fernand can also refund or cancel from the thread. Stripe is built around visibility, AI context, and routing. See the Stripe integration.
Where do I connect Polar?
Settings → Integrations → Connect Polar, then approve the OAuth prompt. Polar also documents the same flow in their own Fernand guide.
